Minister for Information and Broadcasting Sheikh Rashid will offer Eid prayer at Liaquat Bagh and after exchange of Eid greetings with people hailing from all walks of life at Lal Haveli, he will visit Muzaffarabad and Balakot to spend Eid-day with the earthquake survivors to express solidarity with them.

Sheikh Rashid Ahmed on Thursday - the third day of a weeklong "Jholi Phailao" campaign - visited different bazaars to raise funds for earthquake stricken people of NWFP and AJK.

The Minister visited various shops in Namak Mandi, Dalgaran Bazaar, Urdu Bazar and Raja bazaar to collect donations for the quake survivors.

People of all ages, groups and classes responded positively to the Minister's call and donated huge amount to express solidarity with their brethren at this critical juncture.

During visit to markets and shopping centers, traders as well as customers including women and children generously contributed to the funds. The Minister appreciated the spirit shown by the people for the earthquake survivors and donating generously for the noble cause.
